Does your program accept the COMLEX in lieu of USMLE scores for graduates of osteopathic medical schools?
Yes
Does your program consider a minimum cut-off score for USMLE exams?
Passing scores for USMLE are required. There is no minimal passing score requirements. However, the overall score and the number of attempts needed to pass each step will be taken into consideration.
Does your program impose a limit on the graduate year of applicants?
Applicants who graduated more thanĀ five years ago are rarely considered for interview unless they have been actively practicing medicine in the U.S. and are fully licensed.
What type of visa does your program sponsor?
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in theĀ United States without sponsorship.
Do you accept International Medical Graduates (IMG)?
Yes, qualified IMGs or eligible for acceptance into our program.
Is US clinical experience required for IMGs?
Yes, our program begins at the PGY-2 year. All entering residents must have completed an ACGME-accredited transitional or preliminary year with at least 10 months of direct patient care during that year.
